Recently we had Sarah Geyer, New Frontiers Tours, Regional Product manager stay at the luxurious 4 bedroomed Hippo Creek villa with her extended family – her brother, sister-in-law and their 3 kids aged, 3, 5 and 7. Sarah’s brother and family made an inspiring decision to take their kids out of the classroom for a few months and travel through Southern Africa as a family, teaching their kids about the natural world and all the wonders there is to learn in the bush. Growing up, Sarah and her brother spent a lot of time in nature and value those times to this day, saying it taught them both so much and feels gave them a really well rounded childhood. Hence, Sarah’s brother wanted his young family to have this quality time together, to slow down and spend time away from the noise, learning and appreciating all that nature has to offer.
Sarah said there was only one choice for where her family needed to stay when they got to Victoria Falls, and that was in our spacious family villas – so that they could enjoy the privacy and all the little luxuries together while still being close enough to get into town without a long haul transfer.
