Moela Safari Game viewing 3
There is nowhere else quite like our latest hidden gem! 3

Why are we all not selling more epic safaris to witness the largest migration in Southern Africa?

Now you have a remarkable new lodge perched on the Boteti Cliffs that has mastered the perfect combination of luxury, uniqueness and prime location so you can share this bucket list phenomenon with more of your clients! (whilst also knowing you have a tourism veteran that is steering the ship, or the safari lodge we should say putting community upliftment and wildlife conservation at the heart of it all!).

The result is an exquisite new offering on the Botswana safari scene, that should absolutely be front and centre on every Botswana itinerary, at any time of the year. If  witnessing the largest migration in Southern Africa from the luxury and exclusivity of your own private viewing deck at Moela Safari is not a reason enough, read on below to find out why this lodge and this area is a hidden gem. I am thrilled to have added Moela Safari to the Africa Hidden Gem’s hand picked curated portfolio of lodges and camps that are ‘best kept’ secrets as well as vibrant people committed to Africa’s future. Take a sneak peak of an overview of Magnificent Moela.

It truly is a safari location, where the wildlife come to you – all year round. Majority of the year, it is not uncommon to see elephants in their hundreds in the Boteti river bed and even when the migration is not right in front of the lodge, there is always game of some sort – giraffe ambling past, hippos wallowing down below, and the birdlife provides a musical backdrop all day long. The lodge has been built with that in mind and offers two outstanding viewing decks – the ‘nest’ up high so one can photograph wildlife from above and the ‘river bed’ deck to give guests eye level photography and a feeling of being in the thick of the wildlife action.

Then of course, picture waking up and walking down to your exclusive viewing deck and having front row seats to thousands and thousands of animals during the migration – no fighting for good sightings and trying to get the perfect picture – it all comes to you! This is safari heaven and needs to be experienced at least once in one’s lifetime. We really do encourage guests to slow down because everything is right at the lodge – so they can have time to immerse in the luxury spa and a swimming pool of safari dreams. Space, privacy, exclusivity, slowing down, views to die for – all the good stuff guest’s want on a safari holiday and is often priceless, Moela Safari offer right from the lodge. Watch here to view some of these spectacular views – This is love.
