Boteti River

Hidden Gems

The Boteti River is an oasis on the edge of the Makgadigkadi National Park, and an excellent gateway to safari in many different areas, including Nxai Pans and Moela’s own private concession in the Boteti River area.

The Boteti River valley provides an excellent contrast to the Delta and the area has exceptional wildlife all year round as it is a major source of water for thousands of animals that live around the Makgadikgadi Pans, it is truly a magnet for all life around there and is a key part of the zebra migration within Botswana. A visit to Moela, on the elevated banks of the River Valley allows one to enjoy this fascinating and intriguing landscape and all the wonderful safari activities that can be experienced because of its prime location.
